Llansilin

Arrived at Llansilin Sunday morning to what looked like a great track.  Weather was good and bike ready after some major repairs from previous weeks.  Didn't get a good start bike took a few kicks and tyre wasn't gripping as grass was pretty slippy.  Following the riders at the front of the race - we slowed to leave the field through a gateway when a dangerously out of control Enduro Expert rider ploughed into the side of me taking me out.  Fortunately unhurt but the bike was damaged - back brake calliper ripped off and lost.  Another expensive weekend.

Baden Hall  Stafford

Expert class went off just behind the pro line up. A lap was around 10mins and on the first lap came round in 18th overall and 4th in the Expert class.  A few laps in my front brake had gone completely (later found out fork leg was dented from last week which caused seal to blow covering brakes with oil) and my back brakes were working intermittently which was pretty scary on such a fast track.

Finish the rae in 3rd Experts - 12th o/all - Great result with no brakes and a shoulder injury from last week.

Finningley

The paddock was very wet with rain from saturday, but the track looked in good condition.

First race got off the line mid pack, but ran into and over a pack of riders who where off on the second bend, which put me into last place - made my way upto 6th.

2nd race took race win, went down on last lap of race 3 - injured my shoulder but managed to take race win.

Baden Hall - Stafford

The track was pretty wet as it had rained overnight. Start was good came round on first lap in about 4th.  Got into the lead for a few laps untill came off passing a back marker. 

Kept myself in the top 5 with a steady race with no pressure.

Putting myself into 3rd place at the end, just under a minute behind 2nd place.

First lap came round in 19^th place overall finished the race in 16^th overall, and 2^nd in class, 4 mins behind the lead.

Sidcup & District Ipone Cross Country @ Canada Heights

A 3-hour race in very hot and dusty conditions.  Got off to a great start 1^st to the corner in the expert class, came round in 8^th overall on the first lap.  Kept up the pace for most of the race and was lapping consistently – stopping twice to refuel and to refill drinks pack. The dusty condition took its toll on the bike towards the end of the race as it was loosing power.

Finish the race in 4^th a/all position and led the Expert class for the whole of the race.

Another good start 1st into the corner.  Was 1st in class till 1st pit stop after which i came out in 3rd place, got into 2nd place. The last half of the race i pushed hard to make up for lost time (2nd pit stop and to untangle someones footpeg from my wheel) till the end and closed the gap between myself and 1st place Lewis Belfield by 20 seconds.   Great weekend at a superb track

Maeshafan - North Wales

Tough track - Technical and Rocky.

Got off to a great start, 2nd in class.

First lap came round in 24th position overall position 2nd in the Expert class.

Stayed in second place behind Ben Wooton for the first half of the race.

Went into 3rd place after a pit stop which took longer than i expected.

Finished 3rd in class and 18th overall.

Please with the result and the best track so far.

Ashby De La Zouch

Track looked perfect weather good rain stayed off.

Was on the front row in the Expert class, got a great start (along side Brewster and Belfield) and was in 3rd along the straight.  Suffered again with arm pump in the first hour had to dump the elbow pads and they seemed to ease.  Settled into the race and was in 4th place for most of the race and held that till the end.

Finished 4th in Expert Class on 15 laps - 1 lap down on the lead   -   4th place o/all. Great race Great Result.

Coney Green Farm - Stourport on Severn

 Afternoon race - Expert class - second line on the grid.

Got good start but got shunted from behind and sandwiched in on

the first tight corner and went down,  went off at the back of the pack.

Bike was a bit bent and had no front brake for the race.

Managed to get through the pack and get

12th in the experts and 38th o/all.
